im currently doing my MNO weekly essay, which is a little bit philosophical( thus i do not see any link to this business module i'm taking><).

Qn:

Why did the black swan catch you off guard? What did you learn from it?

Its basically to : Think of a time when you thought someone or something would always be a certain way (this is your "all swans are white" statement) but you were caught off guard when that someone or something turned out different than you had expected, even against all odds (this is your "but a black swan showed up" statement about a low-probability event that happened).

Its basically about this person in my JC. I think she knows who she is if she reads this. Truthfully, I was indeed very shock at her total transformation. For whatever reason it was, I think changing within 2 years is very drastic. She changed a lot once she entered University. Truthfully, in jc, i was quite taken with her because of her strong belief in something.  But suddenly, as time flew pass, she just changed.

Sometimes i wondered why i did not ask her straight out why she changed so much. Thinking, i realised it's because everytime i met her, i was so busy with something... or maybe i'm just an ignorant person who is just oblivious and not sensitive enough to realise it earlier?

For whatever the reason it is, I'm thankful that the black swan made me realise how dangerous it is if you prefer to follow the majority rather than being true to yourself and your beliefs. And also, you should understand that a baby duckling won't stay a baby duckling forever.

HAha, i guess thats sums up what my essay is going to be about. I guess MNO does made me think critically about important issues in life such as responsibility, your beliefs and goals in life and also how to react when a 'black swan' appears and what you can learn from it. But i seriously think that all these kind of questions would be better off for a philosophy module rather than a business module=/ 

Oh wells, back to my essay.

PS: i cannot wait to meet my handsome boy this saturday! Love that cute little bugger to pieces!=)
